What we preach!
God created the heaven and the earth. He decided to create man (human beings) and put him to live in the earth he created. However, instead of creating and populating the earth with people, he created one man (and woman), Adam (and Eve). He gave them authority- Genesis 1:28 (King James Version)
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
That is – The Blessing.
God gave them authority and dominion over everything that he created except one thing – see below.
Genesis 2:17 (King James Version)
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Unfortunately, the devil deceived Adam’s wife (Eve) and convinced her that the forbidden tree was good to eat. Through her, Adam disobeyed God, ate the forbidden tree and consequently he died. First, it was a spiritual death (separation from God). Spiritual death (separation from God) led to disease, sickness, poverty, physical death and every bad thing God never wanted for man). So Adam lost authority to the devil and consequently lost The Blessing.
Remember, the world was populated through one man Adam, so everyone inherited his sinful nature.

Romans 5:12 (King James Version)
12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
One might begin to wonder – why should the sin of one man affect you or me? But God is a just God and he made a way through another man, Jesus Christ. He did not leave the world in her sinful nature –John 3:16 (King James Version)
16For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:18-19 (King James Version)
18Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Jesus came and brought back what was lost in Adam – he recovered the authority given to man and The blessing. Therefore, when you accept Christ as your Lord and personal savior you are restored back to what Adam was before he failed. This is a term Christians refer to as being born again.
Jesus said – John 3:3 (King James Version)
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
How can this be?
Romans 10:9-10 (King James Version)
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
This is not difficult to do – if you want to be born again pray the following prayer for yourself –
Thank you, God for sending Jesus for me. Jesus, I believe you came to the world, died and resurrected. Forgive me my sins. From today, I accept you as my Lord and personal savior. Amen
If you sincerely prayed and believe the above prayers, you have become born again and will not only go to heaven but have right to The blessing of God.
